Hematology Openings in Long Island, West Chester County and Northern NJ!
Lab Force Services just received full time, first shift hematology openings in New York and Northern NJ. These are Monday-Friday with shifts starting from 7:45am and ending at 6:00pm (7.5 hour shifts) Candidate will manage the physical environment of the laboratory in accordance with New York DHSS, OSHA, and CLIA regulations, provide technical expertise and guidance on all laboratory matters, develop, implement, and monitor the quality assurance plan, oversee daily operations and promote a safe environment. The ideal candidate will also annually review and revise site specific P& P’s in collaboration with assigned Laboratory, the Laboratory Director and the Clinical Director.
Bachelor’s degree in Medical Technology or Clinical Lab Science required. Hematology credentialing required, ASCP preferred, must have New York State Clinical Laboratory Technologist Licensure. The ideal candidate will also have 3 years minimum experience in editing and updating SOP’s and manuals, excellent phlebotomy skills, knowledge of laboratory policy and procedures and regulations, excellent computer, mathematical calculations, verbal and written communication skills. Qualified applicants will be responsible for performing patient and research specimen analysis in clinical chemistry, hematology, immunology, and urinalysis.
